Zealotry has nothing to do with religion, it’s a personality trait, therefore whatever the mission statement manifests itself in any multitude of attitudes and moral stance.
No matter where you were born, if you have a proclivity to zealotry, you will be a zealot in whatever capacity you find yourself.
One cannot comment with certainty that a change in mindset will allow people to succeed. We ought to take people and their experience at face value. Which means those of us listening ought not to interpret or experience their attitude as mutually exclusive.
The further humans polarize themselves, through mutual exclusivity, the further we remove ourselves from discourse, accord, and the ability to achieve optimal outcomes for many parts of society.
