Our generation wants to take what it learned as truth later in life and teach it to an earlier generation, as if that is the solution to teaching truth.

In some instances, it may be, but regarding social “truths”, these change with times, and finding truth, takes a lifetime of work to achieve a balance of knowing what is good and right, and what is incorrect and morally abhorrent.

Truth is personal, although there may be a collective of people who follow the same truth. The further we stray from thinking that all truths are mutually exclusive the closer possibly we can get to optimal social adhesion.
