Social Distancing Day 2:
I went out of the house for some things. But as I was in the car driving, I continued to think about the situation going on. Whatever it is, there is something odd about talk ‘real’ with people, whether over the phone or the basic interaction I had at the grocery store. People seem to have slowed down from their daily routines, which make them uninterested in their neighbor. There’s a calm about people, a look of “we’re all in this together…” That feeling seems to be binding in a novel, but wholesome way. There’s a great cartoon I saw on FB, that speaks volumes.
